Knox County Patrol Deputies – Knox County Sheriff’s Office The County of Knox is accepting applications for one permanent full-time patrol deputy, and three temporary full-time patrol deputies. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, have no criminal record and be in good health. Applicants must have successfully completed the basic law enforcement training program of the MCJA and have a working knowledge of criminal, motor vehicle and civil law of the State to be enforced within the County. The full-time patrol deputy and temporary full-time deputies are hourly positions, starting at a rate of pay of $15.54 with the 100 hour training course as a minimum requirement, and $15.76 with proof of MCJA certification.
